Exhibition project on mammals of Latvia

The Latvian Museum of Natural History is one of the oldest museums of natural sciences in the Baltics, and it holds the largest collection of natural specimens available to the public in Latvia. The Dd studio project for the design competition focuses on the values of the Natural History Museum by including a modern approach to highlighting exhibits and integrating modern technology solutions.

The aim of the exposition is to offer visitors a chance to learn more about the diversity of Latvian animals, to introduce the seasonal character of animals, to talk about the Washington Convention, and use modern and interactive educational means of expression to promote visitor understanding of Latvian and world animal diversity, and geographical, climatic and ecological conditions by presenting education materials in an imaginative and visually appealing way.
