Rock art of Alta (Norway) is included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List thus main goal of the new permanent exhibition of Alta Museum is to demonstrate how rich and multi-layered the cultural heritage of Alta is using help of various multimedia tools.

The Dd proposal offers visually divide exhibition space into three parts covering seven topics related to history of rock art in Alta. The new rock art exhibition focuses on providing visitors with a whole spectrum of new experiences, providing both intellectual enrichment and sensual impact that together create inspiring experience. The exhibition is informative and aims at a balance between digital and analogue media, content is presented in many ways besides texts and exhibits. Visitors are invited in truly interactive environment that encourages them to explore it. And last, but not least, the exhibition emphasizes connection between the inside and outside of the museum, offering some natural environment even in museum.
